Childbirth Education for Natural & Normal Birth

Open to mothers and anyone in their labor support system, childbirth classes explain what to expect as you reach the last weeks of your pregnancy, the stages of labor, and the natural process of birth. Hands-on practice teaches you comfort measures such as breathing techniques, positioning, and massage to reduce discomfort during contractions, get your baby in the best position for a smooth labor, and allow you to best utilize the resources available in a freestanding birth center for a low-intervention and unmedicated birth. Fathers and support people are encouraged to participate, helping them feel more confident and involved in the experience.

Breastfeeding, newborn care, and your postpartum healing are also topics covered in childbirth classes.
